Girl Scouts and the Bronze Star Award

Marissa has been in Girl Scouts for 5 years, this year she was awarded the Bronze Star Award for redoing the Girl Scouts bridge that is used when the girls bridge to Junior level from Brownies. Marissa is also one the the top sellers of cookies in her troop last year she sold over 750 boxes. During the summer she also goes to the Girl Scout camps last year she went to Cloud Rim for cheer leading and this past summer she went to Trefoil camp for horse riding.

Hey, First Day of School 2007

First day of school Marissa stared 6th grade and Austin started 3rd grade this year.

Extending the deck.

Dad decided to extended the back deck by 4ft this spring. Once Brett got the go ahead to start he was off and running. First, he dug a 3 x 1 1/2 foot hole for the new post and made concrete block for the new post. The outside posts are 12 foot long 8 x 8. Once the deck was built the stairs were replace. Dad wanted to put windows in and enclose the entire porch. I had to veto the windows for I do not want an Easy-Bake Oven for a porch.
