Two years of Marriage!!

I can't believe that it has been two years since Brett and I were married in Maui. Time flies. We were able to go back to Maui last month and enjoy the island again. We left one day after our anniversary and stay for five night.
This was the first night there, not so great picture of us, but look at that sunset. The show at the hotel.
While we were in Hawaii we enjoy the beautiful scencery that Maui has to offer. We drove along Kula Highway in search of Poli Poli State Park. Brett was in search of a Frisbree Golf Course.

I am not the best navigator, here is Brett looking at the map to see where we are. Unable to find the Frisbree Golf Course, not complaining we were able to see the upcountry part of Maui and it was not so hot up there. The weather was okay, cloudly and rainy most of the time but that kept the humidity undetectable. It was a great trip, sad that we had to come home.

Brett's Weekend Fun

This weekend Brett decide to paint the Corvette. He primed it during the weekend and painted it on Sunday.

Everything went well, but one small glitch, he forgot to add the paint activator to the paint so we will see what happen next. He was not to impressed with me when I told the paint ratio from the website, for the paint can did not say anything about the activator being added during the paint process.

Moving up to Cadets

Marissa is now a Cadet in Girl Scouts. This past Thursday she bridged to Cadets. This year the Cadets in her group will be working on their Silver Award which requires 30 hour of service. All I can say is that Marissa with be a busy girl with all her activities from school and Girl Scouts this year. Marissa's troop is going to try and get enough money to go to Disneyland next summer, which will be a lot of fun for her. The stipulation for all the girls to go is that they all have to sell at least 500 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies this year, so all be prepare for the phone call asking if you would like to buy some cookies in January.

End of summer Activies

The summer is coming to the end and Marissa has been busy. Ariana was in town for two weeks at the end of July and beginning of August. The girls spent time together the first first she came into town, they had an sleep over and the went to Nicholas's Baptizm luncheon. Marissa then had camp the first week of August, then her birthday, and now she is getting ready for school.

Marissa's had a great time at camp this year. She went to the program that included windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and rock climbing. She was not so sure of the windsurfing but was for everything else. The following pictures is what she took while at the camp. She went on an overnight hike, which on the way back she rolled her ankle. She was in a tent with two other girls that she had a great time getting to know. She came home with some severely chapped lips. By Wednesday of the following week they look a much better.

For Marissa's Birthday party she had it at Sweet and Sassy Salon, I surprised her and her 4 friends with a limo. At the salon they got there hair, make-up, and nails done and then did karaoke. The kids had a blast. Here are some picture of the days.

Birthday Retreat

Turning 33 is not a big deal to me, I still feel like I am 18. My wonderful husband took me to Park City for the night. A great way to beat the heat in the valley. We enjoyed the cooler weather and a wonderful dinner. We stayed at The Yarrow and just enjoyed each other. Marissa stayed home. Today we check out the outlet stores before heading home.

The date on the pictures are a little off, the pictures were taken July 27, 2008
